The Illinois Small Business Development Center of McLean County at Illinois Wesleyan University
Opening in March 2017, the Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of McLean County at Illinois Wesleyan University provides free consultative assistance and professional advice to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in McLean County and surrounding communities.
Our services include: one-on-one management consultations, training workshops, market research, loan packaging help, assistance with financial projections and information needed to make informed business decisions.
Workshops and training will be co-hosted throughout McLean County. Monthly sessions of “How to Start a Business in Illinois” will be scheduled. Topics will range from financing, marketing, new products and services, to personnel management and employee recognition, customer service, cybersecurity, insurance and other issues.
The Illinois SBDC of McLean County at Illinois Wesleyan University enables entrepreneurs and small businesses with practical information, skills, and strategies that make a measurable, positive impact on the performance of their businesses and, by extension, on the communities in which they work.
The Illinois SBDC of McLean County at Illinois Wesleyan University exists to strengthen our economy through the delivery of high quality, in-depth, and effective business consulting to existing and start-up businesses, creating economic impact.
