Our Vision

Our vision is to provide economic growth through small business stimulation for McLean County.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide professional guidance and inspiration to small business entrepreneurs

United and Stronger

We, at the McLean County SBDC, are dedicated to providing consultation to assist in economic empowerment and growth of minority small businesses. Our mission is to build up local entrepreneurs across every race, religion, color, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, neurodiversity, disability and all other aspects, because diversity is our strength. It is through collaboration and inclusion that our community and all its members can succeed together.

Our Beliefs

We believe our clients have needs and are willing to learn. We know they are entrepreneurial in spirit. We believe our clients are valuable as individuals to us and to the regional, state, and national economy.

We believe our roles are to coach, connect, and educate our clients and that we must be open, positive, and knowledgeable in this endeavor. We provide assistance but do not do our clients’ work. We are also a link to other resources and partners with other business assistance service providers.

Our Values

Service – To us, this means making a difference in our clients’ lives by offering valuable, timely, and meaningful assistance. We make ourselves available to them, and we are courteous and professional.

Quality – We will offer uncompromising excellence in all we do.

Integrity – We will gain the confidence and trust of our clients by keeping all proprietary information confidential and by being honest, trustworthy, and credible in all our dealings–whether we are working with coworkers, clients, or partners.
